BARBARA COULSON WILDER

I majored in Drama at Sac State. Married Husband #1 in 1963 during fall mid-terms. Had my son just before 1965 spring finals. Carried him with me on an Indian cradle board to class for the rest of college. Moved to LA in 1966. Acting career from 1966 - 1973, which included The Committee, and the rock musical Earthlight Theatre, that played to critical acclaim in LA, on three national tours, and at the Garrick Theatre Off-Broadway, NYC. (1971 married husband #2) 1973 - 1993 worked in motion picture production, on many films, including Blade Runner, Risky Business, and The Amityville Horror. Also worked in script development, and in post production on such films as Schindler's List, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, etc. I worked for a year as the finance executive for an American film company in Rome, Italy. I
wrote 9 freelance screenplays. In the mid-80s I honed my writing and filmmaking skills at UCLA. (I Married Husband #3 in 1990 in Dorchester, England)
On the heels of moving from performing to working behind the scenes in the Entertainment industry I began my metaphysical studies at the School of Actualism, which was fashioned after the ancient Hermetic Mystery Schools. There I studied the works of Rudolf Steiner, Alice Bailey along with the ancients, and learned the techniques of Agni Yoga, or Fire breathing Yoga. This would become the foundation of my future work. I matriculated after 11 years of study in 1986.
In 1994 I moved to Boulder, CO, where I began teaching Meditation. I also taught Screenwriting at Naropa University, and founded The Transformational Light Center, a center for metaphysical studies, meditation, and healing. I created my own form of intuitive psychological therapy and began a private practice. I authored two books, MONEY IS LOVE: Reconnecting to the Sacred Origins fo Money and EMBRACING YOUR POWER WOMAN and have taught workshops based on these books throughout the US, & Canada, as well as in the UK, Puerto Rico, & South Korea. I moved back to LA in 2011. I continue my private practice with clients all over the world by phone and Skype, and am working on a new book. I am recovering from a broken ankle, and will return to speaking and leading workshops as soon as I'm back on both feet.
I have no plans for retirement.
Also, I was the first woman bartender in Los Angeles in 1972.

Going to the Junior Prom with Dennis Delrogh. I was 5'8", he was 5'2". I taught him to dance on his front lawn. We had such a blast. Mr. Gill's Latin class and Latin Club, and the skit we did for the Latin Club Banquet where I played Julius Caesar's wife, Calpurnia. I did it with a Brooklyn accent. When I was told of Caesar's death, my line was, "If I told him once, I told him a thousand times....Julie, don't go! But would he listen to me? No." I'm not sure who wrote the sketch, maybe Dennis Delrogh and David Shookoff.
