Michael Jordan informed me that Reune Ochikubo Lee ha passed away in August 2024.  In part, he shared the following information.

"Reyne was a retired state worker (like most of us).  She was married to Dan Lee, had one son Mark and two grand children."  She died from liver disease, as did her mother, neither of whom drank alcohol. No obituary is reported in kthe Scramento Bee or Legacy.com.  If anyone has further infformation, please contact phwongextra@yahoo.com
